While the Onyx Dragon community is growing rapidly here on the forum, many of you have asked about where and when we will be meeting in person.
The Current Status
As of today, we have not yet signed a lease or committed to a specific hall in Inverclyde. This is a deliberate choice. We want to ensure that when we open our doors, we are doing so in a sustainable way that guarantees the club’s long-term future.
Why Wait?
Renting a hall with enough space for large wargaming tables and scenery requires a significant financial commitment. To justify these rental costs and ensure the club remains inclusive and affordable for everyone, we are currently focused on:
- ◈ Building the Player Base: We need a consistent core of players across all genres to ensure that every club night is vibrant and active.
- ◈ Gauging Interest: Knowing how many tables we need to provide and what kind of scenery to prioritise depends entirely on you.
- ◈ Finding the Right Fit: We are looking for a location that is accessible, well-lit, and welcoming.

The faster we grow this forum and our local interest list, the sooner we can secure our permanent home. You can help by:
